Funeral program today

Need a funeral program today? It can be ready in minutes

If the service is tomorrow and there is still no program, this is the shortest path: type the details into the page, choose a design, pay, and download the print-ready PDF the same minute. Print it at home tonight or at any office supply store that is open.

  1. Have these ready. The full name, dates of birth and death, one photo, and the time and place of the service. Everything else can be short or left out.
  2. Ten minutes in the editor. Type, watch the preview, choose a design. Keep the obituary to a few paragraphs; a four-page program with a photo cover and a clear order of service is all most services need.
  3. Print tonight. Pay once and download. Print double-sided at home, or send the print-shop file to an office supply store and pick it up when it is done.

The pieces that matter when time is short

The program first. Prayer cards, a welcome sign and share images come from the same details in a click, if you have time for them.

The fastest way through

Start with the cover: name, dates, photo. That alone makes the preview look finished, and it settles the design choice in a minute. Then fill the order of service from the officiant's outline — it is usually a list of eight to twelve lines. Paste the obituary if one has already been written for the newspaper or the funeral home's website; if not, four short paragraphs are enough, and the what to include guide has wording you can adapt. Add pallbearers and a line of thanks on the back and you are done.

Do not wait for every detail to be confirmed. Enter what you know, pay, print a proof at home, and if the reception venue changes tonight, reopen the editor, fix it and download again. Corrections are free and take seconds.

Printing when the service is tomorrow

A home printer that prints on both sides will produce a perfectly good program on plain paper or a light cardstock. Use the home-printer PDF at 100% scale, set double-sided to flip on the short edge, and print one copy first to check the fold before running the rest. How to print a funeral program lists the settings for common printers.

For a larger quantity or heavier paper, office supply stores and copy shops can print from the print-shop PDF; the file already has bleed and crop marks, so there is nothing for them to fix. Take it on a phone or a USB stick, or email it ahead. Call before you go to check their hours and ask how soon they can do it — that is between you and the shop, but a standard PDF is the easiest job you can hand them.

If you cannot print at all

The reading-order PDF and the share images need no printing. Send them to the family group chat, post them with the obituary, or show the program on a tablet at the entrance. A printed version can follow for the reception or for keepsakes after the service.

Questions

How quickly can I really have a funeral program?
The files are ready the moment payment clears. The time you spend is typing the details — ten to fifteen minutes for a four-page program with the information to hand.
What if I do not have a good photo yet?
Use the best you have on your phone now; you can swap it later and download fresh files free. A clear, well-lit snapshot often prints better than an old print that has been photographed.
Can I print it at Staples, Office Depot or FedEx Office?
Most office supply and copy shops accept a standard PDF with crop marks. Check their hours and, if you are in a hurry, ask how soon they can have it ready. We are not connected to any printer, so their timing is between you and them.
Is a four-page program enough?
For most services, yes: photo cover, order of service, obituary, and a back page for pallbearers and thanks. Choose the eight-page booklet only if you have the time and material for it.
Can someone else check it or fix it for me?
Once you have paid, the link on your download page reopens the editor. Pass it to a family member and they can correct a name or a time from their own device and download fresh files.
