About
Almost every funeral program template sold online is a Microsoft Word file. To use one you need a desktop computer, a copy of Word, and the patience to fight with text boxes and photo frames — usually the day before a service, usually while grieving.
Then, when you print it, the pages come out in the wrong order. Not because you did anything wrong: a folded program has to be printed with page 4 next to page 1, and reading-order files simply are not arranged that way.
So we built the other thing
You fill in the details in your browser — on a phone if that is what you have in your hand. The preview is the actual layout at exact proportions, not an approximation, so what you see is what prints. When you are done you get:
- a print-shop PDF with the pages already imposed, 3 mm bleed, crop marks and embedded fonts;
- a home-printer PDF at exact size with cut and fold guides;
- a reading-order PDF to email to family;
- an editable Word file for a last-minute change.
And the same details make your prayer cards, bookmarks and thank-you cards without typing anything twice.
A few deliberate choices
- No account. Nobody should have to invent a password to bury their mother.
- We tell you when something will not print well. The photo resolution is checked at upload, and the editor says if text will not fit — before you pay, not after.
- Your files are deleted after 30 days. It is your family's photograph. We keep it exactly as long as you need us to.
- Corrections are free. A misspelled name is not a new order.
