Create yours nowPrintable funeral program
Printable means the file is finished and the printing is yours to do, wherever suits you — the kitchen printer tonight, or a copy shop in the morning. Type the name, the dates, the order of service and the obituary, watch every page take shape with their photograph on it, and download three print-ready PDFs the minute you pay. Nothing is posted, nothing is waited for, and nothing is charged until you have seen the whole thing.
Most "funeral templates" are a layout you still have to design, on a day you have no time for it. This is different: type the details once, and every piece is made for you — matching, print-ready, checked.
$29 for the program · $89.95 for the complete set — one payment, files in minutes, nothing shipped.

Every design makes every piece. Your words follow you if you change your mind.
Prayer cards, bookmarks and thank-you cards are built from what you have already typed, in the same design, and print the same way.
Most printable funeral programs sold online are a single page in reading order. It looks correct on a screen and prints as four separate sheets that do not fold into a booklet — the pages come out in the wrong order and the fold lands in the wrong place. A four-page program is really one sheet of Letter paper printed on both sides, folded once, and that means pages four and one share the outside of the sheet while pages two and three share the inside.
Every program here is prepared that way before you download it. The home file is imposed for a duplex printer and asks for no trimming at all; the print-shop file carries 3 mm of bleed and crop marks so a commercial printer can trim it cleanly to 5.5 × 8.5 inches. You are not asked to understand any of it — it is simply what comes out.
Use the home-printer file, choose 100% or Actual Size rather than "fit to page", and print double-sided flipping on the short edge for a folded program. Do one test sheet before the whole run — it costs a page and catches a printer set to the wrong tray or to draft quality. Ordinary 24 lb paper is fine; a heavier text weight feels better in the hand and shows less of what is printed on the other side.
The printing help guide goes through the settings app by app, including the two that cause most of the trouble: scaling and the flip edge.
Take the print-shop file and the instruction sheet that comes with your order. A local shop is usually cheapest and fastest, and will fold and trim for you; the national chains will print from an upload and let you collect in store, often the same day. Ask for 100%, not "fit to page", and hand over the sheet — it tells them the finished size, the sheet, the flip edge, the fold and the trim, so there is nothing to interpret.
Order about fifteen per cent more than the number of people you expect. Families keep them, and a second run always costs more than the spare copies would have.
The same editor and the same designs, with the wording and the order of service already set for how the service is held.
